You're invited to this exclusive portfolio tasting spotlighting woman owned and run, DiVino International Wine and Spirit. Founded by Helga Vuksani-Fishta, DiVino has been importing wines and spirits from Italy since 2017.  

Making a splash in NYC for the first time ever on Monday, September 26th, guests will delight in this 100% Italian wine tasting featuring premium Franciacorta and Trentodoc sparkling wines along with celebrating the official US launch of Vermouth Rosso. 

A true aperitivo style experience, attendees will also relish in authentic Turin bites by native Italian Chef Elisabetta Balzola.

About Elisabetta

Born and raised in Torino, in the northern Piedmont region of Italy, Elisabetta Balzola comes from a long line of Bon vivant with a knack for conviviality.

From a very young age, you could find her in the kitchen with her mamma preparing one-of-a-kind dishes – and that’s how her passion for cooking was ignited. Moving and living across Italy with her own family, from Ancona (Marche) to Sorrento (Campania), expanded her culinary skills and her voracious knowledge of Italian regional cuisine.

In 2014, Elisabetta and her family moved to Michigan, and the chef decided to share her love of authentic Italian food with her friends and neighbors, quickly turning her foodie credentials into a profession.

Her successful catering business Cuciniamo Italiano has been thriving ever since and it has built the foundations of what is now Cucina Lab Torino, an elevated restaurant located in Metro Detroit.

 “Opening a corner of Italy in the United States is a dream come true!” says the Chef.

Chef Elisabetta’s love for her homeland goes beyond the kitchen and recently has crafted ROSSO, an exclusive Italian vermouth. Elisabetta’s ROSSO recipe draws from the ancient original recipe with a modern twist.  Excellent to be shared and enjoyed with family and friends.

About Helga

Helga Vuksani-Fishta is the owner and founder of DiVino International Wine, an importing company with a strong focus on Italian wines and spirits. 

Helga has been importing wine products from Italy since 2017 when she moved to the US.

Her passion for wine started when she was a young girl at 22 years old when she began visiting wineries in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany. 

During Helga’s studies at University of Trento, she started working with one of the largest wineries in the region – Ferrari Trento. In her 12 years with the iconic methode champenoise sparkling of Trento, Hegla managed sales, working with wine lovers, sommeliers and small businesses across the world. 

As Helga grew with the company, she continued growing her experience in winery hospitality and events, eventually working in public relations, traveling for events in different regions and outside of Italy. 

In 2017, Helga moved to Michigan and her better half, Sebi supported her to realize her dream in the US.

Wine is Helga’s ultimate passion and importing and presenting new wine products in the US gives her tremendous satisfaction.
